Nearly 20 years ago having three children involved in gymnastics herself ,Julie  was asked by their coaches to help out in the gym for ‘ crowd control’ she has since moved on to work as a gymnastics coach in a large local club and within many schools across Bexley Borough and Kent.

Julie has coached 4 piece gymnasts mainly from the ages of 10-23,  at regional level, challenge, national finals and the English Championships.  Julie has been selected to attend  multiple training camps and competitions In Vladimir Russia,Malta and Switzerland.

Julie has also recently been appointed to assist the chair of the woman’s technical committee in London, as secretary.

She has been fortunate over the years to gain experience in the production of many competitions including the English championships, London Men’s Open, London Youth Games, world championships and the 2012 Olympics.

Her claim to fame..... I coached weightlifter Zoe Smith before she went off to pursue her career and win a  commonwealth medal.

Julie is really excited to be working with the Vivace team.
