Emmy Lawrence

Assistant Coach

Emmy started out in swimming at a very young age touching upon Dance within her skill set, preforming at theatres in the Borough.

She began in recreational gymnastics when the Vivace Squad coaches identified Emmy had a certain talent for the sport. Emmy fell in love with the sport, giving up her swimming and Dance to focus on the competitive side of the sport.

Over the years, she has competed in regional women's artistic competitions placing 2nd and 3rd in the region in her age group and competed in regional tumbling competitions coming 1st and 2nd in the region. Emmy also qualified to compete Nationally in tumbling, plus a multitude of success at invitational competitions in both Women's Artistic and Tumbling.

Throughout her training, Emmy expressed a interest in helping others achieve similar success and thus our young leader was born. She joined the MyLeadership Academy embarking on her Introduction to Coaching course. She has successfully passed her Helper course and is excited for the day she can do her first Level 1 Qualification.

Emmy is also looking to register for the bespoke British Gymnastics Apprenticeship Scheme in partnership with Bridgwater and Taunton College where the apprentice can achieve either a nationally-recognised qualification or membership of an appropriate professional institution, alongside bespoke gymnastics training. We are so excited to have you on board!
