On the 13th November, some of our squad members took part in the London Regional Twin Piece Competition at Heathrow Gymnastics Club. For many it was their first twin piece competition.
We had some great scores across all rounds from all of our pairs but after a mishap on floor unfortunately one pairs scores couldn't count. Individual piece medals weren't given at this competition but here's how they did:
Round 1:
Vault - Rebecca 1st, Livia 6th and Amelia 7th
Bars - Livia 4th, Rebecca 5th and Natalia 6th
Beam - Maia 4th, Milly 5th and Amelia 8th
Floor - Milly 1st, Natalia 4th and Maia 7th
Pairs - Maia and Rebecca medalled 3rd overall, Livia and Milly coming 4th and Amelia and Natalia coming 8th.
In Round 2 we had another great round but 1 pair had to pull out pre-competition due to a previous injury.
Vault - Nina 5th
Bars - Nina 6th
Beam - Grace 2nd
Floor - Grace 1st
Pairs - Grace and Nina coming 4th overall in their pair.
In Round 3, great round once again with Maddi making her debut at the club.
Vault - Melissa 6th
Bars - Maddi 4th
Beam - Melissa 4th
Floor - Maddi 3rd
Pairs - Maddi and Melissa coming 4th overall in their pair.
