Why VIVACE GYMNASTICS CLUB?

Here at Vivace gymnastics  club we work hard to ensure that all of our gymnasts feel part of a team. Working together towards our goals. We pride ourselves on strongly emphasising a friendly team approach throughout the squad, to encourage each individual gymnast to achieve and succeed at personal targets.

Our Competitive Squads are arranged into small groups according to their capabilities, which give us the scope to concentrate on condensing our coaching and streamlining our session plans.

All Competitive Squads work towards our club and regional competitions and we also take part every year in the Darrick Wood Gymnastics display, With friendly competitions with other local clubs throughout the year.

All new Competitive Squad gymnasts will be invited for an assessment and will be placed into the relevant squad according to their ability.

For Non-Competitive Squads the groups are arranged in school years to enhance the social aspect of training and to allow for a holistic approach to progression. At any time gymnasts can move from our Non-Competitive Squads into the competitive side of the club when they are ready with approval from their coach.

Non-Competitive Squads will have the opportunity if they wish to take part in our club competitions if there is enough members wanting to take part.

What our members say

  • ” Vivace is much more than a gymnastics club, it is a family where all the gymnasts are encouraged to be the best that they can be. Yes, it’s about discipline, and training hard but at the core of everything is fun, laughter and happiness. Seeing my daughter, ESPECIALLY during these last 12 difficult months, laugh, interact with her friends and keep herself active and healthy has brought me so much joy as a parent. She LOVES Vivace, it is what makes her beam from ear to ear. Thankyou Vivace ….for everything you do. “

    Ruth Hunt

  • ” My daughter, Emmy has been with Vivace for over 4 years now.  They are a very professional club with a very friendly approach!  All the coaches are amazing, always very supportive and she loves it!

Throughout these unpredictable COVID times they have kept the gymnasts motivated with Park and Zoom sessions; always adhering to the current government guidelines.

Vivace Gymnastics Club have recently relocated – I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the gymnasts, they can’t wait until they’re back in the gym, doing what they love!

Thank you Viv, Erin & Coaches “

    Nicola Lawrence

  • ” Vivace gymnastics club is like my daughters extended family, the coaches really do go above and beyond to make the gymnasts feel valued and at ease, they show complete commitment at all times.

During unprecedented times they have put in place measures to ensure the children can continue with their training whilst maintaining their welcoming ethos. You will be hard pushed to find another local gymnastics club where the coaches are as passionate and dedicated to the gymnasts well-being.

Truly a fantastic club with caring coaches who are not adverse to giving praise when due. “

    Alix Anderson

  • ” Vivace gymnastics is a great nurturing environment for young gymnasts. Viv and her team provide fantastic support to the gymnasts, combining hard work, safety and lots of fun. They have been fantastic through these challenging Covid times – gymnastics sessions with Viv and the coaches is one of the highlights of my daughter’s week. “

    Lola Adebanji

  • ” My daughter has been training with Vivace for the past year and a half. She absolutely loves it & looks forward to every training session. Viv Erin and all the other coaches are amazing with the all the gymnasts. Amelia has learned so much technique since she started.  The coaches have gone above & beyond during the lockdowns to ensure all the gymnasts still get their training in. “

    Clodagh Drummond

  • ” Amelie loves coming to gym at Vivace – since she started she has progressed so much she loves practising at home and showing us what she has learnt. She has made lots of friends and the coaches make it really fun and have really helped with her confidence too! Thanks for all your hard work Vivace. “

    Lucy West

  • ” Sherina started at Vivace in August 2015. She has made tremendous improvement in her gymnastic abilities. She thoroughly enjoys it. Vivace is such a supportive, caring, well structured environment for all children to grow and that is due to all the amazing coaches. “

    Sherie Murray

  • ” Lola has been at Vivace for a few years now and has been enjoying being part of the club. It has been a challenging year with lockdowns and not being able to train but Viv and her team have tried to be creative with how they keep the gymnastics engaged with a mix of outside training in the summer months and online zoom classes. Viv has been working tirelessly to continue to build the club, and we look forward to hopefully getting back to some normality this year in Vivace’s new home.”

    Julie Barrett

  • ” When my daughter joined Vivace a few years ago, she couldn’t even do a forward roll, let alone the spilts, handstands etc. She has learnt so much from all the fantastic coaches. The Coaches are amazing with the children and they genuinely love and care for all the children. It’s a safe, fun, yet very structured club which my daughter loves x “

    Tammy Sheehan

  • ” Vivace is a well run gymnastics club and the team work really hard to support on-going training sessions for all levels of the squad. My daughter is very happy and looking forward to returning to physical training when they can & utilising all the great equipment and seeing her friends and coaches in person! In the meantime the Zoom sessions offer a great way to keep connected and remain active and strong. “

    Lynda Lowe

  • ” My daughter who has been doing gymnastics from a young age, settled in really quickly when she joined Vivace. This was due to a friendly and welcoming team, who are focused on doing the very best for all their gymnasts to make them best they possibly can be. “
